Timing Is Everything

Someone may have already contacted you about the Qivana business opportunity, or you may be considering purchasing one of the Qivana products. Whether or not either of those is the case, I’d encourage you to read this article in its entirety before making a decision about your professional future.
Qivana – The Company
Qivana is a network marketing company based in the United States. The company sells highly impactful nutritional products through a network or “multilevel” marketing business model. This model is but one of many that have come into more favor as the economy has tanked. More people are looking for alternative ways to make money from home. Network marketing, much like online marketing has undergone very close scrutiny and ever evolving legislation that has forced a higher level of quality and begun flushing out the crooks and “flim flam” con artists. As a result of this scrutiny, they have become infinitely more accepted as mainstream alternatives to conventional business models.
Qivana – The Management Team
The primary reason that I believe Qivana is destined for success is their outstanding management team. Five co-founders, each of whom has an impressive background increasing sales and revenue while running large corporations, lead the company. What is equally as impressive about the Qivana management team is that each of the co-founders have held executive positions at other successful network marketing companies like Tahitian Noni International, Xango, Nature’s Way, NuSkin and VM Direct.
Qivana – The Science
Qivana sells three separate and distinct product lines. The first product line known as the “Qore System” is made up of scientifically proven natural products that are designed to support your immune system and enhance your energy levels.
The second product line is known as the “Metaboliq System”, a line of scientifically proven products that are designed to help you lose weight and support your metabolism.
The third product is “Prime NO Activator”, the only product on the market using state-of-the-art technology to restore Nitric Oxide production through all known pathways in the human body. Some of the benefits include; improved circulation, healthy blood pressure levels, improved cardiovascular aging, normal sexual function, brain cell communication, memory and healthy cognition.
All of the Qivana products were developed by Qivana’s Advisory Board, which is led by Dr. Marcus Laux. Dr. Laux is a well-known and decorated expert in the field.
Unlike most MLM companies selling health related products, Qivana’s products offer excellent value with patented scientific studies to support their efficacy.
Qivana – The Business Opportunity
You can choose to sell Qivana’s product line as an affiliate retailer or you can become a distributor by paying an initial start-up fee and then maintaining a monthly auto-ship of products for your own use. This is pretty standard across the board in the industry. Auto-ship is the back-bone of the business model.
Once a level of momentum is achieved with only a few successful sales, income levels can increase dramatically with continued effort.
Obviously if you sit on your ass and don’t do anything, this model will not work for you. There is one other very important component to massive success…timing. We’ll discuss that at the end of this article.
Disclaimer: You will not likely make as much money in this model as someone who works 5 times harder than you. There is nothing we can do with our comp plan or product quality to change that. If that doesn’t work for you, DON’T buy in to the Qivana family.
Qivana – Compensation Plan
The Qivana compensation plan is a basic binary business model. There are advantages and potential disadvantages to the binary model.
In the binary model, new organization members are introduced into a Binary Tree structure, or a left and a right subtree. Normally, one subtree is referred to as a Power Leg while the second subtree is a Profit Leg.
The Power Leg structure has automatic placement of new members, even by members previously enrolled, or ancestors, to the current member. Since any new members must be placed below their enrolling member, they naturally must fall to an available leaf node of the Binary Tree. Order of placement is determined by cooperation of the enrolling member and his nearest ancestor.
The Profit Leg of the Binary Tree normally contains those new members who are personally enrolled by the member.
Some members below any node on the tree are automatically placed by a member’s ancestor, while other subordinate members are placed at a specific location in the tree by the member himself.
Compensation in a Binary plan is based upon a formula dependent upon a certain value of sales in the Power Leg matching up with a certain value of sales in the Profit Leg.
The upside to this model is that in a binary plan you can have a leader appear 100 levels down and still benefit from the volume.
In the Qivana plan there is clearly a fair balance of upfront income potential and residual income potential.
In ANY compensation plan, the reality is that you need to work hard to get a customer base initially and drive referrals from that and then leverage your new found reputation.
Qivana – Is It For You?
Qivana is a very credible company that offers a solid business opportunity. However, even though this is the case, the company, the products and the compensation plan will not guarantee that you will have success with Qivana. In fact, unless you learn how to become a professional marketer and generate a steady stream of quality leads to speak with about Qivana, you will end up being another casualty of the industry.
Pitching your friends and family will only take you so far. With this strategy alone, most people last between 6 and 8 seconds. And the funny part is that you don’t need to “pitch” anybody.
If you don’t have substantial, fact-based results to back up your claims, then you shouldn’t be selling the products you’re selling in the first place.
That’s what makes the Qivana product line and overall offering so compelling. You state the facts and let people decide for themselves and you have tremendous support from key leaders in the company if people need to hear more.
On the other hand, blindly prospecting complete strangers typically generates minimal results as well. This is why it’s extremely important to your success that you learn how to brand yourself as a leader in the industry and that you learn proper marketing techniques that will enable you to generate a steady flow of qualified leads.
Without a steady stream of qualified leads to talk to about the Qivana business opportunity, things become difficult. This is where online marketing can make the difference. Wouldn’t it be nice to be burdened with INCOMING CALLS from people that are seeking you out as a leader that can help them succeed? With a steady stream of leads there’s no telling how successful you can be with your Qivana business.

Remember we said something about TIMING earlier? Here’s the deal with timing. Network marketing companies typically go through a period of growth called “momentum” in the industry. This is a level of revenue in the $4,000,000 to $6,000,000 per month range. At this point, MLM’s either fail, peak or grow exponentially. This is based on a simple look back at the few successes in the MLM industry. Whether Amway, Avon or Herbalife, go look for your self at the historical data.
As of this writing (March 2012), Qivana is generating slightly less than this figure and is projected to hit this level within the next 12 to 24 months. If it does, anyone who has bought in before then will expect to expand his business at roughly the same rate as the company itself. At that point it becomes math.
So Qivana could fail, no question. Qivana could peak, no question. Qivana could also blow the doors off the building, no question.
